The ThermistorString-NTC3K from Mine Design Technologies (MDT) is a rugged, versatile and easy-to-install thermistor string that is fully customizable and manufactured to client requirements. Each ThermistorString-NTC3K consists of 3 sections:

  1. Cable with up to 19 temperature sensors (thermistors) positioned along its length at user-specified intervals
  2. Lead wire – section of cable between the last node (temperature sensor location) and the termination point/free end
  3. Free end – supplied with bare wires (if the client intends to connect the thermistor wire to a data logger) or a client-specified connector

The MDT ThermistorString-NTC3K is ideally suited to the task of ground temperature monitoring in underground mines.
